Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Transport Specialist to join our team at GPM Investments, LLC. This role involves transporting and delivering petroleum products to customers while adhering to commercial driving regulations and local road conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport petroleum products to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Verify loads against shipping papers and maintain accurate records of duty status in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Assist with basic service tech duties, including changing filters and hoses, as needed.
  • Service bulk plants in Greenville, Chesterfield, and Aiken, managing fuel hoses in various equipment environments.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations for commercial motor vehicles.
Requirements
  • A valid Commercial Class A or B driver's license with tanker and hazmat endorsements is required.
  • No less than 2 years of previous commercial driving experience is necessary.
  • The ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations, with mental acuity to handle receipts, read maps, and maintain records.
  • Physical abilities include reaching above shoulder level, bending, and climbing ladders on trailers.
  • Basic mechanical skills are preferred, with a willingness to train.
