We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Hospice Admission Specialist at Gentiva Hospice. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating the timely admission of patients to our program and developing strong relationships with referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and referral sources to ensure timely admissions
  • Process referrals to ensure accurate and efficient admission of patients
  • Participate in marketing efforts to identify new referral sources and develop growth strategies
  • Verify insurance and benefits information to ensure maximum reimbursement
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients and families regarding insurance and admission details

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with customer service experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in hospice or medical office settings preferred
  • Certification in LPN/LV or Bachelor's degree in business, social work, psychology, or nursing preferred
