The Automotive Store Manager is accountable for the comprehensive management of store operations. This position is ideal for a seasoned leader in the automotive sector who is driven and dedicated to achieving excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Automotive Store Manager, your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Leadership: Oversee the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the store. Supervise a team of four to five non-supervisory employees along with an assistant store manager/sales manager, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Staff Management: Engage in the recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of employees to maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the availability of products and services by effectively managing inventory levels.
  • Security Measures: Implement security systems and protocols to safeguard merchandise.
  • Customer Relations: Establish and maintain rapport with customers to identify current and future service needs.
  • Compliance: Uphold the store's stability and reputation by adhering to legal requirements.
  • Workplace Safety: Ensure a safe and clean environment for both employees and customers.
  • Strategic Planning: Analyze operating and financial statements to inform marketing strategy adjustments.
  • Policy Enforcement: Maintain operational integrity by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess two to four years of supervisory or management experience. Previous experience in the Rent to Own sector or with wheel and tire products is advantageous but not mandatory.

Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential. Candidates should be capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting business publications, professional journals, and regulatory documents. Proficiency in writing reports and business correspondence is required.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Basic algebra and geometry skills are necessary.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, inventory management, payroll systems, internet applications, and database software is expected.

Licenses:
A valid driver's license is required.
