Logistics Warehouse Operative

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for the efficient handling and movement of goods within the distribution center. As a vital member of the team, the Warehouse Operative ensures accurate inventory management and assists in maintaining optimal stock levels, while adhering to safety protocols and operating warehouse machinery proficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Label pallets with relevant store information.
- Retrieve and prepare items for store replenishment.
- Utilize a handheld radio frequency device (RF Scanner) for inventory tasks.
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Interpret safety guidelines, instructions, and procedural documents.
- Perform basic arithmetic operations accurately: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Shift Expectations:
- Commitment to complete scheduled shifts is essential. Flexibility to assist on different shifts is a preferred quality.
- Mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays, may be requested with minimal notice.
Dress Code: Professional attire is required, including well-fitting waist-high jeans (not loose around the hips), and a clean shirt or sweatshirt without logos or inappropriate graphics.
