Sales Director, Americas

As the Sales Director for Multi-Color Corporation's Americas region, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth strategy. This includes defining and executing a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals, building and leading a high-performing sales team, and generating new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Define and implement a sales strategy that drives recurring revenue from new and expansion customers in predefined segments.
- Lead Sales Team: Build and lead a highly efficient and productive sales team in a scalable model that enables sustainable growth in these markets.
- Recruit and Develop Sales Talent: Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing and committed sales managers who can drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with Internal Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to drive demand generation, inbound and outbound, and other marketing programs that drive high conversion rates and efficient customer acquisition.
- Partner with Customers: Partner with prospective clients to understand their business needs, issues, strategies, and priorities and deliver value-added business solutions that meet their needs.
- Business Development and Account Management: Take up the Business Development accountability and guide the internal organization to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Industry Partnerships: Establish and maintain good relationships with Industry Partners and Brand Owners.
- Customer Engagement: Develop effective and efficient responses to customer requests and participate in presenting products and services.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: 8-10 years of proven work experience in sales management.
- Skills: Well-versed in Salesforce, CRM, SFDC, and Office 365. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Demonstrated progressive sales leadership experience, especially with high growth inside sales teams.
- International Experience: Experience in working in an international environment, having been exposed to successful collaboration with multiple cultures.
- Sales Program Development: Experience in building and managing sales programs, including messaging, metrics, methodology, and tools.
- Recruitment and Talent Development: Record of recruiting and enabling top talent.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences of varying technical expertise.
- Travel: Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
