- Installation: Install new commercial HVAC systems or components as needed, ensuring proper setup, alignment, and compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants safely and adhere to all environmental regulations and guidelines.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their questions, explaining necessary repairs, and providing recommendations for system improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance work performed, including equipment history and service reports.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Continual Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
- MUST BE journeyman level HVAC Service Technician with experience on high tonnage chillers & boilers.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
