Job Summary

SWAN Denver is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze system issues and identify effective solutions for repair, preparing detailed work cost estimates and recommendations for customers.
  • Complete diagnostic troubleshooting of HVAC systems, checking the layout of existing HVAC devices and units to plan work procedures, and document service performed and recommendations made.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company safety policies, established procedures, and quality standards.
  • Maintain truck inventory, ensuring necessary tools and equipment for each job are present.
  • Participate in meetings for continuing training and development.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of HVAC Technician experience, with residential sales and service experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and competitive individual contributor who excels as a team player.
  • Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Demonstrate job stability and a high level of dependability.
  • Possess and maintain a good driving record.
  • EPA Universal certification preferred, with EPA Type 2 required.
  • Nate certification preferred but not required.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
  • The principal duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes, the outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance.
  • Frequent work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, or alarms).
  • May work in closed or cramped spaces on occasion.
