Tax Advisory Manager

As a Tax Advisory Manager at VTekis Consulting LLP, you will play a pivotal role in fostering robust relationships with emerging enterprises across various sectors, including technology, food and beverage, health and beauty, and professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture strong connections with clients in high-growth industries.
- Utilize strong business insight to comprehend the unique needs and challenges faced by startups, delivering customized advisory services.
- Collaborate with clients to formulate tax-efficient strategies that align with their organizational objectives.
- Provide expert advice on the tax ramifications of critical business decisions, including fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, international growth, and employee stock options.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and reviewing tax returns at federal, state, and local levels.
- Stay informed on evolving tax laws and regulations that may affect client operations.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of State and Local tax (SALT) issues and business tax nexus.
- Guide clients in structuring equity compensation plans for their workforce, encompassing stock options and restricted stock units.
- Engage in continuous client outreach to address business challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Provide specialized knowledge on research and development (R&D) tax credits and other incentives pertinent to emerging businesses.
- Lead and supervise a team of tax professionals, including associates and senior associates.
- Mentor junior staff, aiding in the development of their technical skills and professional expertise.
- Identify avenues for business growth and expansion within the emerging companies sector.
- Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events, seminars, and conferences.
- Design and implement a go-to-market strategy, seeking growth opportunities within the team.
- Educate clients on tax strategies, compliance obligations, and potential risks.
- Conduct training sessions or workshops to demystify complex tax concepts for clients.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation or relevant professional qualification.
Experience:
• Extensive background in delivering tax advisory and compliance services to emerging companies and entrepreneurs.
• Profound understanding of tax laws, regulations, and their application to startup environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven leadership experience with the capacity to manage and inspire a team.
