We are seeking a skilled Automotive Detailer to join our team at Mossy Auto Group. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and pre-owned vehicles to meet dealership and manufacturer specifications. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, and torn upholstery
  • Restore vehicles using appropriate materials
  • Wash, wax, and buff vehicles, clean interior and exterior windows
  • Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials
  • Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicles using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices
  • Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment
  • Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
  • Utilize special-purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
  • Operate all tools in a safe manner by using proper eye, hand, and body protection
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management
  • Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable conditions at all times
Qualifications
  • Past experience as a detailer
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Positive attitude
  • Valid CA Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Required
  • Accepts constructive criticism with motivation towards improvement on job performance
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
