Dialysis Nursing Resident Opportunity with Top Healthcare Provider

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Dialysis Nursing Resident at St. David's Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare systems in Texas.
Estimated Annual Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
About the RoleThe RN Resident will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care while developing valuable clinical and critical thinking skills under the guidance of experienced nurse educators and preceptors.
This is a 12-month paid residency program that offers comprehensive training and support to help you transition from a graduate nurse to a confident and skilled registered nurse.
- Advanced Clinical Training: Participate in hands-on simulations, workshops, and online modules to enhance your knowledge and skills in dialysis nursing.
- Preceptorship Training: Work closely with a dedicated preceptor to develop your clinical expertise and confidence in a supportive environment.
- Evidence-Based Practice Project: Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement an evidence-based practice project that addresses a real-world challenge in dialysis nursing.
The RN Resident will be responsible for:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as ordered by medical providers and monitor patients for therapeutic responses.
- Care Coordination: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide individualized care plans and coordinate patient transfers.
- Education and Support: Teach patients and families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures.
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: From an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License: Current license to practice nursing in the state
- BLS Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
- No Prior Experience Required: We welcome new graduates and those looking to transition into dialysis nursing.
