Role Overview
  • Position: Corporate Counsel, Sales and Operations
  • Summary: The Legal department seeks an attorney with robust experience in finance and commercial sales to support our expanding B2B operations. This role involves close collaboration with the North America and LATAM trading card sales, finance, tax, and procurement teams to facilitate commercial transactions and lead negotiations. Additionally, legal support will be provided to the Procurement and Facilities teams on operational matters.
  • Classification: Exempt (US Only)
  • Management Role: No
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary legal advisor for the North American and Latin American trading card sales teams, leading negotiations with various partners across the Americas.
  • Offer transactional guidance to the finance department, covering areas such as accounts payable, receivable, and procurement.
  • Draft, structure, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including service contracts and reseller agreements.
  • Advise on commercial issues affecting the B2B supply chain, including manufacturing and trade compliance.
  • Provide legal support for operational infrastructure and procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with legal team members to deliver comprehensive advice to client teams.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining contract templates and policies.
Qualifications
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • J.D. or equivalent degree with a valid bar license to practice in Washington State.
  • At least 5 years of experience advising on commercial transactions, particularly in sales and operations.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of US competition law, IP, finance, and trade regulations.
  • Experience in streamlining processes for operational efficiency.
  • Background in supporting business growth in various regions.
  • Experience with multinational corporations and cross-cultural communication.
  • Preferred: In-house legal experience and Spanish fluency.
