As a key member of our State and Local Tax team, you will gain experience in tax compliance and consulting services specific to State and Local Taxes. Your primary responsibilities will include working on complex indirect tax audits, managed audits, and recovery of tax overpayments (reverse audits), preparing complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries, and researching and analyzing a wide range of tax issues and tax implications.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a team orientation, and strong interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will need to be able to manage multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Work on complex indirect tax audits, managed audits, and recovery of tax overpayments (reverse audits)
* Prepare complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries
* Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues and tax implications

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
* Strong project management skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Master's degree in Accounting or related field
* CPA Candidate, CPA or CMI in progress or complete
* Internship or light experience in public accounting
