As an Advanced Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Well Baby Nursery, including follow-up planning and resuscitations.
Key Responsibilities- Direct patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Well Baby Nursery, including follow-up planning and resuscitations.
- Participate in night call with pediatric residents and assist with procedures.
- Teach medical students, physician assistant students, and nursing students, as well as pediatric and family medicine residents in the NICU and Well Baby Nursery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to infants and their families.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Experience in newborn resuscitation, placement of arterial and venous lines, and chest tubes.
- Knowledge of medical principles and procedures, including ventilator management and therapeutic hypothermia.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in emergency situations.
- Competitive hourly rate of $70.43.
