Job Summary:

We are currently hiring for a full-time Clean School Environment Professional position at one of our high schools. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school facilities, ensuring a positive learning environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all classrooms, offices, libraries, restrooms, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.">
  3. Floor Care: Sweep, mop, disinfect, and polish hard-surfaced floors in restrooms, cafeterias, hallways, classrooms, and other areas as required.">
  4. Minor Repairs: Perform minor maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks.">
  5. Additional Duties: Assist with seasonal grounds work, such as snow removal, leaf removal, and special event setup.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Experience: Preferably 1 year of experience in custodial or maintenance work.">
  • Safety Certifications: Possession of safety certifications, such as OSHA or hazardous materials handling, is preferred.">
  • Reliability: Must be able to maintain regular attendance and adapt to changing schedules as needed.">
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.">
  • Professional Development: Willingness to participate in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.">

Benefits:

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of $14.06 - $16.97 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include eligibility for vacation, retirement, and other employee benefits.

Work Environment:

This position requires working indoors and outdoors in various environments, including navigation of indoor and outdoor spaces, work near moving mechanical equipment, and potential exposure to chemicals within a typical school setting.
