Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and staff, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Operate and maintain state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring the safety of our donors and staff.
  • Work closely with your management team to identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes as needed.
  • Ensure a clean and professional work environment, attending team meetings, and problem-solving with your team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
