Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to take on the role of Front Office Representative at our clinic in Mesa. This position plays a crucial role in managing patient interactions and ensuring a smooth operational flow within the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support both front and back office operations to enhance overall efficiency.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle incoming patient calls and route them to the appropriate staff members.
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments as needed.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing and scanning system.
- Verify and update patient demographic information.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and fulfill assigned responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience of 1-2 years in a similar role.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Athena, is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills with effective written and verbal communication.
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant is required.
