Compensation: $100,000 - $135,000 per annum based on experience

Nexus HR Services is seeking a dedicated and proficient Physician Assistant to enhance our Orthopedic Surgery team.
Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position that necessitates regular travel to multiple healthcare facilities to ensure optimal patient care.
Training opportunities in Orthopedic Surgery are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive preoperative and postoperative evaluations of patients.
- Examine patient medical histories and conduct physical assessments.
- Order and analyze diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Assist in surgical procedures within the operating room.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for surgical interventions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and deliver post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the Orthopedic Surgeon to formulate detailed treatment strategies.
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, associated risks, and aftercare.
- Conduct follow-up consultations to track patient recovery and address any issues.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring precise and timely documentation.
- Facilitate the coordination of patient care, including referrals and consultations.
- Engage in Surgical Rounding activities.
- Be available for on-call duties as required.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nursing staff, physical therapists, and radiologists.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Participate in team discussions regarding patient cases and treatment approaches.
- Stay informed about advancements in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Attend relevant training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance professional skills.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Possess a valid New Jersey state license and certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Prior experience in Orthopedic Surgery is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate.
- Strong skills in surgical assistance and familiarity with spine surgeries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations in New Jersey.
