Job Title: Digital Communications Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Manager to join our team at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital communications strategies that drive engagement and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate content, both written and visual, for IEEE Conferences and Events (CEE) Communications and Web Presence
  • Create and maintain content for CEE Web Presence
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including digital innovations, volunteer leadership, vendors, and colleagues
  • Conduct analysis and evaluation of communications portals to perfect customer experience and support business development
  • Develop and execute copywriting and editing plans to meet CEE expectations for voice and visualization
  • Partner with leadership teams to create presentations that reflect the CEE digital experience
  • Manage content development and execute on the digital roadmap to align and define digital presence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in English or Communications
  • 4-7 years of digital communications and closely related experience, inclusive of copywriting
  • 4-7 years of project management experience
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, and ability to prepare and deliver presentations to volunteers and staff at all levels
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders in a matrix management structure
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and strong timeline/deadline management skills to balance competing priorities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Gmail, Google Apps, Constant Contact, and social network services
