Job Summary

As a Field Service Engineer at Bio-Rad Laboratories, you will be responsible for providing critical assistance and care to customers in the Denver, CO area by performing repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on Bio-Rad's Clinical Diagnostics and Life Science instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on Bio-Rad's instruments to ensure quality performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting and maintaining the Bio-Rad instruments used by customers to advance healthcare research and treatments.
  • Building and sustaining strong relationships with customers to anticipate and advocate for their needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with FDA and GMP regulations and requirements through detailed record keeping and service documentation.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of transferable field service experience servicing electro-mechanical/electronic/optical/robotics equipment and an A.S. or B.S. in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field or military equivalent experience).
  • Ability to read, understand, and successfully follow medium to highly complex work instructions.
  • Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong computer skills and fundamental knowledge of computer networking.
  • Strong customer relation and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for daily travel.
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Diagnostic or Life Science instruments.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $64,800 to $89,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
