Dr. Hill Educational Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Support Staff/Support Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing in-home support to young clients with behavioral challenges. The primary focus of this role is to provide one-on-one support to a young client in accordance with their individual behavior treatment plan. The duties of this position are varied and may include assisting the child or teen in avoiding unacceptable behavior, playing an emotionally supportive role, encouraging social interaction and participation in group activities, and helping the child's family and caregivers promote acceptable behavior and more independence. The successful candidate will be trained in PMT/CPI and will be responsible for providing intervention supports to families for the benefit of the child. Additionally, the candidate will be required to provide data and input as needed, function under regular supervision by a professionally licensed or certified personnel, and report to work as scheduled. A valid Connecticut driver's license and current First Aid and CPR certificate are also required. The Therapeutic Support Staff Training is provided before working, and the training cost will be deducted from the first paycheck.
