Warehouse Driver Job Description

KONE, a leading elevator company, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Driver to join our team. As a Warehouse Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the warehouse, inventory, and tools, ensuring seamless operations and efficient delivery of parts, materials, and tools to job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Associate to inspect, label, and record incoming shipments of parts, equipment, and tools.
  • Sort materials, using a forklift if necessary, to place on pallets, racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence or product code number.
  • Prepare requests for parts, equipment, and tools via requisition forms or phone.
  • Complete requested orders and record outgoing materials.
  • Load orders into truck via forklift or hand.
  • Transport and deliver goods to and from designated job sites.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Clean the warehouse and equipment.
  • Responsible for inventory checks every six months.
  • Troubleshoot parts delivery issues (change location, missing shipments, etc.).
  • Adjustments to inventory stock.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • 1+ experience in a warehouse environment and/or as a truck driver.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn fork lift operation.
  • Valid driver's license and experience operating a motor vehicle.
  • Microsoft Office product computer skills are required.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn KONE parts, SAP system, and the territory covered by the branch.
