Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patron Services Attendant to join our team at Delaware Park Casino & Racing. As a Patron Services Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our guests in designated areas within the casino and racing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests with programs and information as needed, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • Accurately account for receipts from sales of programs and related journals, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Pick up and distribute programs, racing forms, and harness eye in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete reports for accounting purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Promote guest safety within respective areas, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests when horses are entering and exiting the Paddock area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Promote outstanding customer relations, ensuring a high level of satisfaction among our guests.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service and public relations, with a strong understanding of the Thoroughbred Racing Industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business demands, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
