Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests at the bar and dining area.
  • Engage with patrons, taking and processing their orders.
  • Prepare meals as requested by customers.
  • Address any special requests from diners with a positive attitude.
  • Conduct visual inspections of all food items before serving.
  • Set up the food line daily in accordance with the menu.
  • Evaluate customer preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Combine ingredients to create signature cocktails.
  • Maintain a guest-centric approach to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
  • Adhere to all food and beverage regulations.
  • Follow health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation protocols.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organized, including restocking supplies and washing glassware and utensils.
  • Assist with the preparation of vegetables and condiments as needed for subsequent shifts.
  • Return unused food items to designated storage areas, ensuring proper covering and dating of perishables.
  • Implement correct food handling and storage procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a bartender/server.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving food and beverages.
  • Proficiency in a second language is advantageous.
  • Positive demeanor and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Capability to maintain an organized, stocked, and clean bar environment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service aptitude with the ability to effectively engage with a diverse clientele.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
  • Experience with cash handling is necessary.
