Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in warehouse operations, leadership, and communication. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all safety, service, and cost targets are met, and leading a team of Warehouse Managers and associates to achieve these goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and develop Warehouse Managers through coaching, training, and problem resolution.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to achieve zero-error benchmark on accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with OSHA requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Operations to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of experience in warehouse supervision required.
  • Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • HACCP certification a plus.
  • PCQI certification a plus.
Work Environment

The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.

Travel

10% travel required, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training.
