Material Handler

At Eurofins VRL Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and laboratory facilities.

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming supplies and enter related data into the receiving system.
• Oversee inventory management, adhering to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction.
• Perform general facility-related duties, including cleaning laboratory areas, minor facility repairs, and monitoring the facility.
• Troubleshoot building equipment problems to maintain business operations.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Previous laboratory inventory experience preferred but not required.
• 0-2 years of warehouse or facility maintenance experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Basic Excel, Outlook, and data entry skills.
• Problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (minimum 50 pounds).
• Ability to work in a controlled environment utilizing aseptic techniques.
• Ability to work within quality systems under regulatory requirements.

This laboratory maintains hazardous materials, and all employees must abide by Eurofins VRL Inc.'s Safety and Exposure procedures. This includes using provided safety clothing and equipment.
