ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Sales Associate position is pivotal in executing the standards set by Anderson Merchandisers to enhance sales and fulfill retailer and client expectations. This role operates under the guidance of the Market Sales Manager, with daily interactions and follow-ups expected with the Territory Sales Lead.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish strong relationships through daily interactions with store personnel and management.
  • Inform customers and store staff about the advantages and features of our clients' brands and products.
  • Accurately execute all assigned tasks, projects, resets, and displays, adhering to provided guidelines.
  • Maintain high-quality standards to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Oversee merchandising and execution of all designated projects, ensuring quality and accuracy to uphold account aesthetics and achieve superior project execution compliance.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all company policies.
  • Communicate daily with the Territory Sales Lead regarding completed activities, sales opportunities, and any potential barriers, while reporting specific requests and needs.
  • Utilize all functions of handheld devices effectively and consistently.
  • Ensure confidentiality of company, client, and retailer information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to lift objects and products weighing up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting of items up to 35 lbs, and the capacity to lift heavier items (up to 100 lbs) with assistance.
  • Flexibility to work while sitting, standing, or walking.
  • Capability to perform tasks involving fine manipulation of hands, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing, along with upper and lower body mobility.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and overnights.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent certification is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary, as travel to various locations may be required.
  • Automobile liability insurance must be maintained.
  • Access to a computer, internet, printing capabilities, and email is essential.
  • Prior customer service or sales experience is preferred.

COMPENSATION:

The starting pay rate is $17.50.
