This is a full-time position offering predominantly day hours, with some evening and weekend shifts when specialists are in office.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting, including assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and administering medications.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Perform and assist with clinical procedures specific to specialty areas.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Monitor and document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Participate in continuous professional development and maintain current knowledge in specialty areas.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a specialty outpatient setting (Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Cardiology, or similar).
Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform specialized procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required.
