Pediatric Nurse Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality healthcare services to our patients at Madigan Army Medical Center on Joint Base Lewis/McChord, Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct health assessments and develop plans of care for patients
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records

Requirements:
  • Current, active, valid, and unrestricted license from any U.S. jurisdiction of permission to a health care professional recognized licensing agency of a State; the District of Columbia; the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the United States (U.S.) Virgin Islands; or other territory or possession of the U.S.
  • One year of qualifying experience in the specialty
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
