AAS Locum Tenens is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pathology Physician to join our team in Atlantic City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical pathology and be able to work independently in a hospital-based general surgical pathology practice within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The laboratory is accredited by CAP, CLIA, and AABB, ensuring high standards of pathology services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reading approximately 30 cases per day, utilizing standard anatomical pathology equipment such as the Thermo Scientific Cryostat and Olympus Microscopes. The method of preparation for cases is ThinPrep.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reading surgical pathology cases
* Utilizing standard anatomical pathology equipment
* Maintaining high standards of pathology services
Requirements:
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pathology
* Valid medical license in the state of New Jersey
