Job Opportunity

CentraCare invites skilled Registered Nurses to contribute to our dynamic Regional Float Pool team. This multi-hospital float pool RN position offers the chance to work in rural settings and at a Magnet-designated regional hospital. In our critical access rural hospitals (Paynesville, Melrose, and Sauk Centre), you'll work in the ER, on the Medical and Surgical units, and Mom/Baby units. At Magnet-designated St. Cloud Hospital, you'll work on the Medical and Surgical units. RNs in this role often work independently and must quickly adapt to different units' workflows and protocols, fostering a high degree of professional autonomy and confidence.

Work Schedule
  • Full-time: 60-72 hours every two weeks
  • Part-time: 36-48 hours every two weeks

Shifts include:

  • Nights: 8 and 12-hr shifts
  • Evening/night: 8-hr shifts

Every 3rd weekend and holidays per unit policy.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay rate minimum: $36.83 (ADN); $37.75 (BSN); $38.69 (MSN), pay determined by experience

Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts

$3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates

Benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts, and more

Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
  • Current Minnesota RN License required
  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • BSN or higher required within 36 months of being hired
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience with nursing expertise in a related area of specialization preferred

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required

1 year Medical/Surgical experiences preferred

TNCC certification or equivalent within 1 year of hire

CALS within 1 year of hire
