Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead our Automotive Battery business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for program management and product development, driving growth and profitability through market analysis, user experience, and time-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the North American Automotive Battery business through the entire product lifecycle process, ensuring competitive and market-relevant product programs.
  • Analyze market trends and opportunities, identifying new market requirements and growth potential through user experience, market research, and industry scoping.
  • Develop and implement business cases and project financials for new product development, ensuring alignment with business plan and profitability targets.
  • Monitor category KPIs and Profit and Loss to ensure business plan and profitability targets are being met.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to launch programs and increase sales.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Trade Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, Plants, and Quality functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, related business, or technical field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a product management role in the automotive aftermarket industry, with automotive battery business experience preferred.
  • Practical experience with and interest in automotive technology.
  • Proficient knowledge of standard software, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Basic ERP experience, with SAP experience a plus.
  • Proficient oral and written communication in English, with Spanish as a second language a plus.
  • Ability to condense complex topics in verbal and written communication and presentations.
