About the Role

The Retail Title Clerk is a key member of the Clayton Homes team, responsible for applying for titles, securing liens, and issuing checks to the Department of Motor Vehicles. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply for titles and secure liens in a timely and accurate manner
  • Issue checks to the Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Collaborate with Home Centers to obtain necessary documents
  • Manage a high volume of work within limited timeframes
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Willingness to cross-train in two other positions
  • Willingness to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screen
