Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all phases of the finishing process for Dayton-Granger's components, including the application of masking prior to sanding or painting.
  • Remove masking and perform touch-ups on painted surfaces before they undergo quality inspection.
  • Polish or buff any imperfections on units to ensure compliance with our craftsmanship and industry standards for finishing.
  • Complete production orders and associated tasks promptly and according to customer specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols as outlined by company policies and the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a manufacturing setting, particularly in roles focused on finishing, sanding, painting, or assembly of components.
  • Tools: Skilled in the use of hand and air tools, with the capability to mask, buff, and polish parts to meet exacting industry standards.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong visual inspection abilities to identify and rectify imperfections, ensuring superior finishes on all products.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks that require physical endurance, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds, while utilizing tools that demand good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Safety Awareness: Understanding and commitment to following all safety guidelines as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.
