Assembly Technician

At DRS Naval Power Systems, INC, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality assemblies and components to meet customer specifications and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and inspect electronic components and sub-assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Operate various manufacturing equipment, including assembly machines and inspection tools
- Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures
- Collaborate with production team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Participate in LEAN events and other quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve processes and efficiency
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
