Key Responsibilities- Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelves and shelf tag moldings
- Stock merchandise from tag to tag, ensuring that only saleable items are placed on shelves
- Understand and use company tools, such as ACIS and CAO, to optimize inventory management and ordering
- Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Wear the Food Lion uniform and maintain a neat and clean appearance while adhering to the Food Lion dress code
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Ability to use technical information to solve problems
- Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
As a PT Center Store Associate, you will be required to stand for long periods, frequently walk short distances, and perform repetitive hand and arm motions. You will also be exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time. You must be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning and packaging materials, fresh fruits, vegetables, house plants/flowers, and household cleaners.
