About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, as needed, to meet customer demands
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Stock shelves and set up displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment
  • Clean store equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, as needed, to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Assist in making deliveries, as needed, to meet customer needs
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options and features with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
  • Suggest ways to improve sales, providing valuable insights and recommendations
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
