Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Mansions at Alpharetta. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor nursing staff to ensure the highest quality care is provided.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, observing effectiveness and reporting any concerns.
  • Conduct daily rounds of residents, recognizing and reporting any changes in condition to the Director of Wellness or RN.
  • Supervise Home Health Aides to ensure proper care is provided, safely and with the utmost quality.
  • Assist in the orientation of new staff and provide guidance to nursing assistants.
  • Perform related work as required, including maintaining cleanliness and neatness of the nurse's station and med room.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and personnel, promoting good interpersonal relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program, currently licensed to practice in the state.
  • Work experience in the geriatric field, with strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to deal with visitors, staff, and residents in a courteous manner.
  • CPR certification, or obtained within 90 days of hire and yearly thereafter.
