Key Responsibilities:
  • Admit new residents and ensure a smooth transition into our care facility
  • Assist physicians during rounds and provide support during medical procedures
  • Assign and delegate duties to non-licensed nursing staff, ensuring efficient workflow and patient care
  • Monitor resident care and supervise assistive nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction
  • Perform ongoing assessments of residents' physical and mental health, identifying areas for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Record accurate patient medical histories and vital signs, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Administer prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds, and perform other medical procedures as needed
  • Collect samples for lab testing and communicate results to the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Florida
  • At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including per diem assignments
