Key Responsibilities

Peraton is on the lookout for a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Technical Operations Manager for the SCITES initiative. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting various operational aspects across multiple locations.

Peraton is committed to providing a comprehensive suite of centralized IT infrastructure, services, and processes, including compliance activities related to Cybersecurity Task Orders for our networks. Our dedicated team will focus on evolving and utilizing cutting-edge technologies and best practices to enhance capabilities and ensure that platforms and intelligence operations are effectively aligned with mission objectives.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders regarding all technical projects.
  • Ensuring that all engineering contracts meet performance standards and objectives, including project timelines and quality metrics.
  • Leading engineering teams through the complete lifecycle of projects, facilitating a smooth transition from engineering to operational phases.
  • Providing insights and recommendations for the lifecycle management strategy.
  • Overseeing the integrated master schedule for engineering projects, identifying critical paths and mitigating potential risks.
  • Advising clients on innovative technologies and strategies for cost reduction.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree coupled with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale engineering programs within the Department of Defense, with a solid understanding of IT operations.
  • A fully adjudicated TS security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Relevant certifications as stipulated in DoD 8570 Baseline Information Assurance Technical (IAT)-II level.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over six years of experience in major enterprise engineering projects within a C4 enterprise environment, focusing on automation challenges and technical solutions.
  • More than six years of experience in leading teams for system design, development, installation, upgrades, and implementation of critical hardware and software systems.
  • Experience with virtual desktop environments and cloud technologies for over six years.
  • Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
  • A valid VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) v6.5 certification.
  • A valid Cisco Certified Design Expert certification.
