This role is pivotal in the planning, execution, and management of healthcare technology and clinical projects within the Defense Health Agency framework. The selected candidate will significantly contribute to fostering customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee business and technical project teams to guarantee successful project delivery within stipulated timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, delivering on time and within financial constraints.
  • Manage customer relationships to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Collaborate with partner vendors to facilitate seamless integration of systems and products.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with team members to define tasks and manage timelines.
  • Engage with primes and subcontractors by establishing objectives, reviewing tasks, directing efforts, and scheduling meetings to ensure task completion.
  • Prepare and present clear status reports and meeting minutes to senior leadership and customer stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating them to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Oversee project budgets, including direct and subcontractor labor costs.
  • Drive Agile team objectives and ensure customer deliverables are met.
  • Facilitate the integration of work planning into a project management platform (e.g., Jira).

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project management.
  • 5-7 years of experience leading technical, clinical, or support teams.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing government contracts.
  • Proven experience with health-related systems or corporate environments.
  • Experience in managing both technical and business projects.
  • Familiarity with budget and contract management.
  • Excellent writing skills for producing technical or clinical documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for effective interaction with team members and external partners.
  • Effective communication skills to understand customer needs and articulate technical solutions.
  • Ability to engage with high-level corporate and government officials.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience in developing, implementing, or managing clinical quality measures and clinical decision support tools.
  • Experience leading a team of clinical and technical professionals in creating artifacts for healthcare implementation.

Preferred Experience:

  • Training in Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with the Defense Health Agency is advantageous.
