Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder - 2nd Shift (Night Shift) - Crimper to join our team at Regal Rexnord Corp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding and crimping metal components to high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tig Welding and Mig Welding: Weld metal components using Tig and Mig welding techniques, working with a variety of materials including steel, galvanized, and stainless steel.
  • Welding Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Quality Control: Inspect welds for imperfections and ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Material Handling: Handle and store materials safely and efficiently.
  • Work Order Interpretation: Interpret work orders and collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
  • Adherence to Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred but not required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions, read and interpret documents, speak effectively, and present information in small groups.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to use measurement tools, welding equipment, and torches, and to work in a fast-paced production environment.
