At Maxim Healthcare Services, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with Autism and other special needs. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team.

About the Role

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children in their home, helping them develop social skills, communication skills, and manage repetitive or restrictive behaviors. You will also be responsible for documenting child progress and milestones, and following and implementing behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Autism and other special needs
  • Help children develop social skills, communication skills, and manage repetitive or restrictive behaviors
  • Document child progress and milestones
  • Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for working with children with special needs
  • Strong communication skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician
