As an intermediate-level position, the Field Specialist engages in hands-on work utilizing cutting-edge technologies to provide effective solutions for clients. Additionally, this role may include managing field crews as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct installation services for downhole packers and service tools in field environments.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in calculating essential oil industry metrics, including volumes, pressures, and forces.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of field operations, encompassing completions, remedial workovers, cementation, and fracturing.
  • Effectively operate on pulling units and drilling rigs.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on company-owned rental equipment as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of job reports.
  • Assist in shop operations and make deliveries when necessary.
  • Be available for on-call support to address customer needs.
  • Understand and adhere to Weatherford's Quality Policy and comply with all relevant quality systems and procedures.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies diligently.
  • Execute work assignments to the highest quality standards.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors within the job's physical constraints.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of relevant field experience.
  • Minimum of a High School diploma (or equivalent).
  • Preferred: 2-year college degree.
  • General knowledge of products and services.
  • Mechanical aptitude for performing repairs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to follow instructions and collaborate effectively with team members.
