Job Title: Neurophysiology Technologist II

OU Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiology Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our Neurophysiology department, you will play a critical role in assisting in the performance of various Neurophysiology procedures that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of nerve and brain disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform competently two or more modalities of Neurophysiology studies, including EEG, EMU, LTM, ECI, and pruning Studies
  • Prepare patients for Neurophysiology studies, complete post-study paperwork, and maintain patient files
  • Train and precept new hires, and assist physicians, nurse practitioners, managers, and technologists as needed
  • Ensure patient safety, promote evidence-based practice, and quality initiatives, and exhibit professionalism
  • Function in other areas within the Neurophysiology department as needed, including the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
Requirements:
  • High school graduate with some post-secondary college education in science or health-related area
  • 2 years of experience in Neurophysiology/Neurodiagnostics and competent in performing two or more Neurophysiology/Neurodiagnostics studies
  • BLS (American Heart Association) required upon hire
  • Certified Neurodiagnostics Technologist
