Job Title: Construction Superintendent

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and Coordinate: Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Communication: Communicate with the project team regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals.
  • Subcontractor Management: Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
  • Inspections: Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
  • Safety and Compliance: Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  • Conflict Resolution: Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
  • Documentation: Maintain a daily log of activities on the jobsite.
  • Multi-Site Management: Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • Leadership: Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work.
  • Problem-Solving: Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling.
  • Organization: Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Communication: Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts.
  • Permits and Approvals: Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.
  • Record-Keeping: Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the jobsite.
