Job Purpose

To efficiently manage patient check-ins, verify insurance coverage, confirm or reschedule appointments as necessary, and process payments for services rendered.

Responsibilities :

Welcome and check in patients Handle phone inquiries and schedule appointments Maintain and update patient records Understand and adhere to insurance plan guidelines Exhibit patience and sensitivity towards patient needs Listen attentively to patients and healthcare professionals, following directives from dentists or supervisors. Confirm patient insurance information Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and thoroughly Submit insurance claims Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Office Manager Participate in morning meetings, chart reviews, and regular office discussions. Adhere to company policies and procedures Comprehend and comply with HIPAA regulations, OSHA laws, and safety standards while maintaining confidentiality. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/ Skill Sets

Strong customer service and verbal communication abilities. Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding information, with the capability to present information effectively to patients. Ability to apply common sense to execute detailed instructions. Basic computer skills Experience with dental management software is advantageous Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and listening skills Previous experience in a dental office is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
