Job Title: MRI Technician

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our team at IntelliPro Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The MRI Technician will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Siemens MRI machines and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients on the examining table and place specified coils close to the area of interest, following protocols requested by radiologists.
  • Demonstrate the use of microphones to facilitate communication between patients and technologists during examinations.
  • Enter patient data, anatomical areas to be scanned, orientation, and position of entry into the MRI equipment's computer system.
  • Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers into the computer.
  • Monitor patients' safety and comfort through the control room window and closed-circuit TV.
  • View images of scanned areas on the video display screen to ensure quality.
  • Photograph images using the camera's keyboard.
  • Alert staff entering the magnet room to the danger of wearing or carrying metal around the magnet.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Siemens experience/knowledge.
  • IV certification and experience.
  • Self-driven/motivated technologist.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.
  • 1-3 years' experience as an MRI Technician.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to work independently.
Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
  • NJ State RT License.
  • MR Certified.
  • BLS Certification.
