Job Title: Clinician (SB WRAP VICTORVILLE)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team at South Coast Children's Society, Inc. in Victorville. As a Clinician, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to children and their families, developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans to promote positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and family therapy, formulating diagnoses and completing clinical assessments and treatment plans.
  • Utilize a trauma-informed approach when working with children and their families.
  • Administer measures such as the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 and utilize results to inform treatment.
  • Collaborate with outside agencies to ensure clients' treatment goals are met and in compliance with court-orders.
  • Attend all required meetings, such as Children and Family Team meetings.
  • Effectively collaborate with the program's multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and cohesive care.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
  • 1+ years' experience in report writing, assessment/diagnostic skills, group and family therapy skills.
  • Licensure, Registration, Certification: PsyD/PhD/LCSW/LMFT preferred. If not licensed, active registration with the California BBS or Board of Psychology as Registered Psychologist.
  • Valid CA driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Completion of CPR/First Aid within the first thirty (30) days of employment.

Salary Range:

$66,560 - $88,000.00/Yearly

Work Environment:

Ability to drive a motor vehicle without restrictions, often in heavy traffic and frequently long distances (one hour or more) to ensure safe transport to client settings and to safely transport clients to appointments as needed.

Senses of vision, hearing and smell sufficient to regularly operate a motor vehicle, to visualize threats in the environment or risks to clients, and to operate safely in the field.

Required to occasionally lift and carry 10-20 pounds.

Regularly required to sit, stand, climb stairs (1 or more flights) and walk while in route to and during family visits.

Regularly required to sit and use computer in office settings.
