Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the general accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DCAA and DCMA regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in government contract accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of DCAA and DCMA regulations.
  • Experience with Costpoint, QuickBooks, and WAWF software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with customers and business partners.
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with defense government contracts.
  • Experience using Government websites such as SAM.GOV.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

Work Environment:

  • Office location: San Diego, CA.
  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
