At Dexian DISYS, we are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing telecommunications networks that support our clients' diverse needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in telecommunications network design and management, including analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services.

You will work independently or under general direction on moderately complex requirements, analyzing, planning, programming, and implementing network solutions. Your expertise will include installing, troubleshooting, administering, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software.

We require a strong understanding of industry standards and protocols, including Infoblox Grid Manager, Pulse Secure IC Series Unified Access Control Appliance, Great Bay Beacon Server, Cisco Prime, Wireless Controllers, and access points. Experience with network sniffer technologies, NetScout InfiniStream, and Wireshark is also essential.

A bachelor's degree in a related field or active military service may be accepted in lieu of two years of network operations experience. IAT-II Certification (Security+) is required, along with CCNA certification at start and CWNP Certification within 60 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and develop telecommunications networks supporting various capabilities, including voice, data, video, and/or wireless services.
  • Design and plan installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from project inception to conclusion.
  • Define problems and develop system requirements and network specifications.
  • Closely coordinate with other information system professionals to ensure proper implementation of network services.

This position requires an active Department of Defense security clearance at the SECRET level for consideration. U.S. citizens only are eligible for a security clearance and this position.
